DAY 2

STUDENT INFORMATION

*Thank you to everyone who has contributed to the cereal drive. The box in the cafeteria is filling up and we are getting closer to our goal. Please get all donations in by TODAY. Thanks again for your support!

*The Diversity Club would like to invite 6th-8th grade students to participate in The Day of Silence, which has been rescheduled to Friday, April 29. Students who participate will agree to take a vow of silence for the day to stand up against bullying and harassment of LGBTQ+ youth. Look for sign-ups in the cafeteria the week after vacation or reach out to Ms. Warren or Ms. Bahnsen if you would like to participate.

*Attention Diversity Club Members: We will be meeting on Monday AND Wednesday the week we return from April vacation. On Monday, we will meet at 2:30 in the 8th grade project room. On Wednesday, we will join the Youth Action Team right after school in room 230. See you then!

*REMINDER: There is No School Tomorrow. We hope you all have a safe and restful week! Hopefully we have some nice weather!!

*Review of Dismissal Procedures: If you should need to dismiss your student during the school day, please send your child in with a note, and have them report to the main office. We will log them in our dismissal book and give them a pass. This will help to alleviate disruptions to classrooms during teaching time. You can still email the teachers, however if that is all you do it may not be transferred to the main office. Also, if you just email the main office staff or Administration, due to the volume of traffic in the office in the morning, an email may not be seen right away. Parents/Guardians MUST come to the main office to sign their child out. Students cannot just walk out on their own. Thank you for your understanding.

*A gentle reminder, for the safety of all staff and students, parents should not be exiting through the parking lot after dropping children off coming from North Avenue. Parents need to exit the parking lot onto Armory Street. Thank you for your cooperation.

*Also, just another quick reminder, students should not be entering the building before 7:00am.

*If you have not returned the Emergency Contact Form, please do so as soon as possible. Thank you.
