DAY 2

STUDENT INFORMATION

*To all 8th grade girls interested in playing soccer at the high school next year, please come to a brief 10 minute meeting TODAY at 2:20 in the Galvin cafeteria to get information from Coach Martin.  Thank you!

*Attention 8th graders: If you would like to be part of the final dance committee, please see Ms. D'Ambrosio in Room 336 for our first meeting on April 5th after school.

*Show your support for Ukraine by purchasing an 'I stand with Ukraine' bracelet. They are $1.00 each and will be sold during lunch shifts as well as in room 120. All money collected will be donated to CORE response, a humanitarian crisis response non-profit that helps Ukrainian refugees.

*The community service club cereal drive is in need of your donations. Please help us reach our goal of 200 boxes of cereal by the end of our drive. Just grab a box from home and drop it in the collection bin in the cafeteria! Thanks for your support!

*Attention 7th and 8th graders, Student Council will be hosting the first and unfortunately only Upper House Dance of the year on Friday, April 1st. Please get your dance contract filled out if you would like to attend. Tickets are $7 at the door. The dance is informal. School appropriate, comfortable attire is expected.

The Student Council will be collecting donations to send to Ukraine at the dance on Friday. Items that are most needed are winter gloves, hygiene supplies, and first aid materials. There will be a collection bin at the dance. If you would like to bring the items in sooner, you may drop them off to Ms. D'Ambrosio in room 336.

*We have quite a collection of lost and found items again. Please check the table outside the main office if you have misplaced something. Items will be here until the Student Showcase on Wednesday evening and any remaining items will be donated by the end of the week.

*Today’s Lunch: Hotdog with Fries, and Fruit

*Review of Dismissal Procedures: If you should need to dismiss your student during the school day, please send your child in with a note, and have them report to the main office. We will log them in our dismissal book and give them a pass. This will help to alleviate disruptions to classrooms during teaching time. You can still email the teachers, however if that is all you do it may not be transferred to the main office. Also, if you just email the main office staff or Administration, due to the volume of traffic in the office in the morning, an email may not be seen right away. Thank you for your understanding.

*A gentle reminder, for the safety of all staff and students, parents should not be exiting through the parking lot after dropping children off coming from North Avenue. Parents need to exit the parking lot onto Armory Street. Thank you for your cooperation.

*Also, just another quick reminder, students should not be entering the building before 7:00am.

*If you have not returned the Emergency Contact Form, please do so as soon as possible. Thank you.
