Food Service Updates for the 2023-24 School Year

Wakefield School’s Food & Nutrition Department would like to update you with exciting news about universal free school meals. It's official! Massachusetts has become the 8th state to make meals free indefinitely! This means that every student is eligible to receive one free breakfast and one free lunch each day. All additional meals outside the first breakfast (where applicable) and lunch will be charged along with the school’s current meal rates.

Please see the food service director's opening letter to the district here
