Membership in the Wakefield Memorial High School Hall of Fame will be granted to those who meet the following criteria:

1. They have distinguished themselves and brought honor to WMHS for their outstanding participation in the athletic program.
2. They have continued, after graduation, to distinguish themselves and bring honor to their organizations and community through outstanding achievement.
3. They serve(d) as outstanding examples of the type of character, courage, leadership, and well-rounded individual which WMHS seeks to develop through its athletic program

Eligibility for Nomination:
1. WMHS graduates will be eligible for nomination for membership in the WMHS Hall of Fame anytime after the 10th anniversary of their graduation.
2. Coaches' eligibility will be based upon a high degree of competency and success. Candidates must have contributed toward promoting sound educational values in their athletes. Coaches are eligible for induction 3 years after leaving coaching in the Wakefield Public Schools or after turning the age of 65.
