DAY 1

STUDENT INFORMATION

*The 5th Grade Night Spot is TONIGHT  from 7:00-8:30 pm. Tickets are $5 at the door.

*Best of Luck to our Science Olympiad Team at the State Competition tomorrow! You will ROCK!!

*Sunday, March 10th is the beginning of Ramadan and we have a special message from Ms. Pacheco: I want to wish "Ramadan Mubarak" (blessed Ramadan) to all our friends who are observing Ramadan this month. Ramadan is a time of reflection, community, and spiritual growth for many around the world. Let's all take a moment to show our respect and support for those participating in this special time. Remember, kindness and inclusivity make our school community shine bright. Have a wonderful day, everyone!

*REMINDER: Students should not be entering the building before 7:00am unless they are attending Jazz Band, Math Club, or have made prior arrangements with a teacher. Students may come into the building for breakfast at 7am. Students must be actively eating breakfast or they will be sent outside. Please dress for the weather and plan accordingly. Thank you.

PARENT INFORMATION

*Review of Dismissal Procedures: If you should need to dismiss your student during the school day, please send your child in with a note, and have them report to the main office. We will log them in our dismissal book and give them a pass. This will help to alleviate disruptions to classrooms during teaching time. You can still email the teachers, however if that is all you do it may not be transferred to the main office. Also, if you just email the main office staff or Administration, due to the volume of traffic in the office in the morning, an email may not be seen right away. Parents/Guardians MUST come to the main office to sign their child out. Students cannot just walk out on their own. Thank you for your understanding.

*A gentle reminder,  for the safety of all staff and students, parents should not be exiting through the parking lot after dropping children off coming from North Avenue. Parents need to exit the parking lot onto Armory Street. Thank you for your cooperation.

*Students should not be entering the building before 7 am as there is no supervision. If your child attends jazz band, math club, or has made arrangements to meet a teacher those would be the only exceptions for entering the building early.

TODAY’S LUNCH: Pasta with Marinara Sauce, Garlic Bread, and Fruit

MONDAY'S  LUNCH: General Tso Chicken with Rice Pilaf, Broccoli, and Fruit
