STUDENT INFORMATION
*Happy STEM Week, Galvin! To help celebrate, you have a chance to win a prize by answering our daily trivia question correctly. You should have received an email this morning with a Google Form to submit your answer. To celebrate the “S” in STEM, today’s trivia question is science-based. Are you ready? Which planet is known as the “Red Planet”?
*REMINDER: Wednesday, October 18th is an EARLY RELEASE DAY and it is also PICTURE DAY. Students will be dismissed at 11:20. Picture Order Forms have been mailed home. If you have not received one, please stop in the main office to pick one up.
*We still have Agenda Books available for any student still needing one. They are $5 each. Please stop by the main office if you would like to purchase one.
* If you have misplaced a lunch box, water bottle, or an article of clothing, please check the cafeteria for missing items.
PARENT INFORMATION
*Review of Dismissal Procedures: If you should need to dismiss your student during the school day, please send your child in with a note, and have them report to the main office. We will log them in our dismissal book and give them a pass. This will help to alleviate disruptions to classrooms during teaching time. You can still email the teachers, however if that is all you do it may not be transferred to the main office. Also, if you just email the main office staff or Administration, due to the volume of traffic in the office in the morning, an email may not be seen right away. Parents/Guardians MUST come to the main office to sign their child out. Students cannot just walk out on their own. Thank you for your understanding.
*A gentle reminder, for the safety of all staff and students, parents should not be exiting through the parking lot after dropping children off coming from North Avenue. Parents need to exit the parking lot onto Armory Street. Thank you for your cooperation.
TODAY’S LUNCH: MENU CHANGE: Due to unforeseen circumstances today’s lunch will be Lisa’s Pizza and no hot a la carte options will be available
