STUDENT INFORMATION  

*All Wakefield Academy Enrichment participants should report to the cafe after school each day this week.

*Anime/Manga club is back in session! Our lower house-5th and 6th grade Anime and Manga club is starting this Friday 1/12 from 2:30-4 pm in room 337. And our upper house- 7th and 8th graders are starting Wednesday 1/17 from 2:30-4:00 pm in room 337. Make sure you're signed up- See Mrs. Grams and Mr. O for questions.

*REMINDER for 7th Grade: Your Night Spot is TOMORROW Friday, January 12th from 7:00-8:30. Come join your friends for some fun!

*The Lower House Student Council is having a Wear Blue/Snow-themed spirit day tomorrow Friday, January 12th to welcome in winter.  We hope everyone will participate.

*The Lower House Student Council will Tuesday, January 23rd  from 2:20-3:00 pm in Mrs. Shea’s room

*The Galvin Online Store is now open.  You can purchase Galvin Gear directly through the link below. You have until January 15th to place your orders.  All orders will be delivered to the Galvin at the end of January. Any questions, please reach out to Jen Shea or David Messuri.

PARENT INFORMATION

*Review of Dismissal Procedures: If you should need to dismiss your student during the school day, please send your child in with a note, and have them report to the main office. We will log them in our dismissal book and give them a pass. This will help to alleviate disruptions to classrooms during teaching time. You can still email the teachers, however if that is all you do it may not be transferred to the main office. Also, if you just email the main office staff or Administration, due to the volume of traffic in the office in the morning, an email may not be seen right away. Parents/Guardians MUST come to the main office to sign their child out. Students cannot just walk out on their own. Thank you for your understanding.

*A gentle reminder,  for the safety of all staff and students, parents should not be exiting through the parking lot after dropping children off coming from North Avenue. Parents need to exit the parking lot onto Armory Street. Thank you for your cooperation.
