DAY 3

STUDENT INFORMATION   

*Reminder: TOMORROW there is No School in honor of Veterans Day.

*Veterans Day Assemblies Today: 7th/8th grades 8:30-9:30; 7th and 8th graders should start to head to the auditorium at 8:20.  7th should use the first floor entrance and 8th should use the 2nd floor. 5th/6th grades 10-11; 5th and 6th should plan to head to the auditorium at 9:50, but should wait for an announcement to make sure we are running on time.  5th should enter through the first floor and 6th through the 2nd.  

*All Day - Honeydew in Wakefield (by the lake and in Greenwood) 10% of all sales benefit the Galvin PTO. Stop by today for a coffee or a treat.

*TODAY, all student mentors and student mentees should report to room 126 at 2:30 today.

*Attention Lower House Student Council: Our next meeting will be on Tuesday November 15th after school in Room 101 until 3:00pm.

* Attention Upper House Student Council: Our next meeting will be on Wednesday, November 16th after school in Ms. D'Ambrosio's room, 336.

*If you are a student registered to take the bus, please stop by the main office to check for a bus pass.

*Attention All Students: We do still have Agenda Books for sale. They are $4 each. Swing by the main office if you need to purchase one!

*We have quite a collection of lost and found items in the white bin in the main lobby. If you are missing anything, please take a look. Items not claimed by November 10th will be donated or discarded. Thank you.

*TODAY’S LUNCH: Chicken Patty Sandwich with Chips, and Fruit

*8th Period Duty:  11/15 Upper House in room 300 with Mr. Manzi; Lower House in room 202B with Ms. Mesite.

PARENT INFORMATION

*Review of Dismissal Procedures: If you should need to dismiss your student during the school day, please send your child in with a note, and have them report to the main office. We will log them in our dismissal book and give them a pass. This will help to alleviate disruptions to classrooms during teaching time. You can still email the teachers, however if that is all you do it may not be transferred to the main office. Also, if you just email the main office staff or Administration, due to the volume of traffic in the office in the morning, an email may not be seen right away. Parents/Guardians MUST come to the main office to sign their child out. Students cannot just walk out on their own. Thank you for your understanding.

*A gentle reminder, for the safety of all staff and students, parents should not be exiting through the parking lot after dropping children off coming from North Avenue. Parents need to exit the parking lot onto Armory Street. Thank you for your cooperation.

*Also, just another quick reminder, students should not be entering the building before 7:00am.
