STUDENT INFORMATION
*There will be a Youth Action Team meeting on Wednesday, 2/14 in room 233. If you have any questions, please email Mrs. Tarness.
*Just a friendly reminder that the Youth Action Team's Student Staff Pickleball Tournament is on Thursday, 2/15 at 2:30 in the gym. If you are playing in the tournament, please check your email for details.
*Members of the Community Service Club will be selling hot chocolate in the cafeteria during lunches through the start of February vacation. Hot chocolate costs $1. Your lunch account CANNOT be used for hot chocolate so please have a dollar bill or coins with you for purchase. All proceeds will be donated to the Salvation Army of Wakefield to help local families in need. Your support is greatly appreciated!
*2 REMINDERS: 1 - Students are not to pack up before 2:15. Backpacks should not be carried to last period class. 2 - Students should not be entering the building before 7:00am unless they are attending Jazz Band, Math Club, or have made prior arrangements with a teacher. Please plan accordingly. Thank you.

*WEF Annual Adult Spelling Bee: March 15th! WEF is celebrating its 35th Anniversary this year and we want you to celebrate like it's 1989! It's time again to brush up on your spelling and create clever costumes--WEF is hosting its annual Adult Spelling Bee on Friday Mar 15th. Remember, points awarded for best costumes. See attached flyer for more details and sign up early--tables max out at 18 this year as we are hosting the Bee at the West Side Social Club.

*Review of Dismissal Procedures: If you should need to dismiss your student during the school day, please send your child in with a note, and have them report to the main office. We will log them in our dismissal book and give them a pass. This will help to alleviate disruptions to classrooms during teaching time. You can still email the teachers, however if that is all you do it may not be transferred to the main office. Also, if you just email the main office staff or Administration, due to the volume of traffic in the office in the morning, an email may not be seen right away. Parents/Guardians MUST come to the main office to sign their child out. Students cannot just walk out on their own. Thank you for your understanding.
*A gentle reminder, for the safety of all staff and students, parents should not be exiting through the parking lot after dropping children off coming from North Avenue. Parents need to exit the parking lot onto Armory Street. Thank you for your cooperation.
*Students should not be entering the building before 7am as there is no supervision. If your child attends jazz band, math club, or has made arrangements to meet a teacher those would be the only exceptions for entering the building early.
