STUDENT INFORMATION
*Come see the Wakefield Warrior Marching Band perform at Landrigan Field before they leave for their national Bands of America competition at Rutgers University in New Jersey. The band, consisting of students in grades 8-12, will perform their full show at 8pm on Wednesday, October 25th. This is free and open to the public!
*Attention 7th and 8th graders: Upper House Student Council's first dance of the year is Friday, October 27th from 7-9 pm. This is a Halloween themed dance. Costumes are encouraged but must be school appropriate. Tickets will be sold at lunch the week of the dance (Monday-Friday) for $7 and will be $10 at the door. Remember, if you plan to attend you need a guardian to fill out the Social Event/Dance Contract.
*Lace up for the 5K Run for All Ages on Nov 4, 2023 to benefit Wakefield Educational Foundation. Get out there with your kids and parents to join the race for all ages! Sponsored by the New England 65 Plus Runners Club, pre-registration is open now or you can register at the event. Race starts at 10 am. *We still have Agenda Books available for any student still needing one. They are $5 each. Please stop by the main office if you would like to purchase one.
* If you have misplaced a lunch box, water bottle, or an article of clothing, please check the cafeteria for missing items.
PARENT INFORMATION
*Review of Dismissal Procedures: If you should need to dismiss your student during the school day, please send your child in with a note, and have them report to the main office. We will log them in our dismissal book and give them a pass. This will help to alleviate disruptions to classrooms during teaching time. You can still email the teachers, however if that is all you do it may not be transferred to the main office. Also, if you just email the main office staff or Administration, due to the volume of traffic in the office in the morning, an email may not be seen right away. Parents/Guardians MUST come to the main office to sign their child out. Students cannot just walk out on their own. Thank you for your understanding.
*A gentle reminder, for the safety of all staff and students, parents should not be exiting through the parking lot after dropping children off coming from North Avenue. Parents need to exit the parking lot onto Armory Street. Thank you for your cooperation.
