DAY 5

STUDENT INFORMATION

*Quarter 2/Semester 1 ENDS TOMORROW! Make sure all your work is caught up and turned in. Let’s end strong!!

*Galvin's Youth Action Team is hosting an Upper House Round-Robin style Pickleball tournament on Thursday, February 15th from 2:30 - 3:30 in the Galvin gym. If you would like to be a part of this fun activity, please look for an email from Mr. Tetrault to fill out the form! Teams will consist of 1 upper-house student and 1 staff member.  Email Mrs. Tarness or Mrs. Stevenson with any questions!

*2 REMINDERS: 1 - Students are not to pack up before 2:15. Backpacks should not be carried to last period class. 2 - Students should not be entering the building before 7:00am unless they are attending Jazz Band, Math Club, or have made prior arrangements with a teacher. Please plan accordingly. Thank you.

PARENT INFORMATION

*Review of Dismissal Procedures: If you should need to dismiss your student during the school day, please send your child in with a note, and have them report to the main office. We will log them in our dismissal book and give them a pass. This will help to alleviate disruptions to classrooms during teaching time. You can still email the teachers, however if that is all you do it may not be transferred to the main office. Also, if you just email the main office staff or Administration, due to the volume of traffic in the office in the morning, an email may not be seen right away. Parents/Guardians MUST come to the main office to sign their child out. Students cannot just walk out on their own. Thank you for your understanding.

*A gentle reminder,  for the safety of all staff and students, parents should not be exiting through the parking lot after dropping children off coming from North Avenue. Parents need to exit the parking lot onto Armory Street. Thank you for your cooperation.

*Students should not be entering the building before 7am as there is no supervision. If your child has jazz band, math club, or has made arrangements to meet a teacher those would be the only exceptions for entering early.
