Are you interested in serving in local government? Want to be a more involved community member and advocate for Youth issues? Apply to be a member of the Wakefield Youth Council! The Youth Council is a group of town residents aged 13-18 that bring youth voices to the table, and applications for the 2023-24 term are now open. If you are freshman, sophomore, or junior interested in applying, visit wakefield.ma.us/youth-council-applications, or scan the QR code on the fliers around school. The WHS Dance Team will be holding tryouts for the fall 2023 season.  Tryouts are open to all students currently in grades 8-11 who plan on attending Wakefield High School in the fall. Tryouts will run today THROUGH Thursday, May 11, 2023 from 3:30 – 5:30pm in the Upstairs gym at WHS. Please wear comfortable clothing you can dance in and have socks, jazz booties, and sneakers with you.  No need for tights and a leotard.  Make sure to bring plenty of water. 

 

Attention Juniors: On Wednesday May 10th, the University of Advancing Technology will be holding a virtual visit.  Please stop by guidance for more information.
