Kindergarten Registration

The Wakefield Public Schools offers tuition-free, full-day kindergarten to all our students. Following School Committee Policy, children must be five years of age before September 1, 2024, to enroll in kindergarten.

Kindergarten Registration for the 2024-2025 school year will open on January 16th and run through February 2nd. Online registrations should be completed by February 2, 2024. Please visit https://www.wakefieldpublicschools.org/district/students-parents

Step 1: To register a student please click this link to complete the enrollment registration form.

Step 2: After you have completed the enrollment registration form, you should receive two emails. One, saying your form was submitted, and one when your enrollment form was approved. The second email will include information about setting up a Parent Account in our Student Information System (SIS), so make sure you check your spam folder for this email and should come within 24-48 hours after registering your student. Students Pre-Registering for next year will not receive a second email within 24-48 hours. Once the registration time is completed, the administration will review all applications and make final decisions on school placements. At the end of this process, you will receive an email.

STEP 3: Once you have created a parent account and you log into our SIS, please fill out all forms to complete the registration process.
